One of my best friends just gave me a free ticket for a Superchick Concert at the Palmer Theater tomorrow. The concert this Thursday, October 29, is part if the band's Barlowgirl Tour.
This band is a mix of rock and alternative centered around Christian music. So instead of talking about death or sex they talk about their faith and it's a breath of fresh air!
There is a good mix of diverse members of band with two female bandmembers who are actually related, Tricia and Melissa Brock. While their sound is more a pop rock sound it definitely is engaging listeners as they tour to promote their fourth album.
The concert includes special guest Vota, who also has a similar type of sound.
