Usually I focus on live events in Austin but because I love all entertainment and I want you guys to know how multi-faceted I am, I decided to write about my experience so far with fall television.
I'm sure you've heard of shows like Glee taking off and others falling by the waistside. But which will be worth it in the longrun? WHO KNOWS!!!??What I do know is as an audience member myself I can share my opinion and just comment on what you agree, disagree with, or on what I didn't even think to mention!!
Just remember my blog.... my rules! Now let's get started....
10 Things I Love This Fall....
1. The risque episode that just aired on Gossip Girl took it back to its original greatness. Let's keep it coming!
2. New shows are focusing on unique, quirkier stories or situations making them much more enjoyable such as Modern Family, Glee, and Cougar Town.
3. More shows with complex premises once reserved for movies emerging other than lost such as V:The Visitors or FlashForward.
4. The supernatural trend is still hot off the heels of True Blood is the teenage version (no not Twilight), The Vampire Diaries. While the vampire trend if done well is great, these two shows based off books really speak to their audiences and it shows in the ratings.
5. How I Met Your Mother is genius for showing the rise and fall of beloved characters' relationship, Barney and Robin.
6. Are you kidding me? The Soup's Joey McHale in his own show, Community? Need I say more!?
7. The Hills without Lauren drops fake pretenses and talks more candidly about sex, relationships, and people!
8. Curb your Enthusiasm and fake Seinfeld reunion. Really funny.
9. The last season of Monk. Makes me sad but hilarious adventures ensue....
10. Another season of Heroes....eventually what was good will get good again right?
...... Okay I lied that's all I have for what I love.Next is what I HATE!
1. I hate, hate, hate, hate The Good Wife. Seriously, who is watching it? It's boring.
2. The Hills without Lauren is just Kristin, Audrina, and Speidi. The fights and cattiness keeps me watching yet it lacks real substance. I can't even deny how real or fake it is. Absolutely made up. I mean come on Jayde and Brody tweet about eachother and he left her for Kristin? Can you say staged!?
3. Some of the great shows took too long to become good like Gossip Girl and How I Met Your Mother. Its charm that made you love it began lackluster and they just now found their groove. Granted it is transitional seasons with once battling to be together couples just that, together. Yet please let's keep moving forward not go back!
4. Melrose Place. I hate it. Granted 90210 is actually good but this show has a hot cast and that is about it.
5. Not many supernatural shows besides fringe and vampire stories. While V is scary can we be a little creative Hollywood?
6. Too many family shows... or maybe too similar. I like Modern Family but can we keep them all distinguished? Think about it....
7. Originally I loved Bored to Death on HBO but now.... it's boring.
8. Really Rebecca Romijn, 'Eastwick'? Witches of Eastwick is all they could come up with for supernatural? Disappointing....
9. Lost is coming to an end. And I tried to watch it to see what would happen. Now it's over. Thanks... Now I'll have to watch V religiously to make up for whole in my heart...
10. Admit it. Hilary Duff and Tyra Banks added to Gossip Girl awkwardness. While Hilary Duff's character Olivia is growing on you. You can't believe she went from being so sweet she makes you sick to seducing Dan AND Vanessa.....

LOL. I love the soup, therefore I love Community! You forgot to talk about Parks and Recreation is a good show Amy is funny! Also, GG is totally not up to her usual standards of drama, I need more. Maybe if Serena hook up again this will make it a little better, LOl.
